Scope of project planning services offered and provided to the projects
Contract / Tender Programmes
It is crucial to accurately develop the programme from the beginning, as it will form the foundation for project delivery and become a commitment within the client contract. The contract / tender programme will be part of the contract documentation, depending on the agreed form of contract. We have developed these contract programmes for various projects listed above and offered them successfully.
Submission / What-If Scenario Programmes
It is vital for all NEC projects to have an Accepted Programme in place. This programme can be resource and cost-loaded according to the client's requirements. We regularly monitor and update the programme using Earned Value Management to ensure it remains on schedule and within budget. If any activities on the critical path or near the critical path are delayed or at risk of delay, we raise an alert. We then implement mitigation measures to bring the project back on schedule, which may involve preparing an Acceleration or Recovery Programmes.
Delay & Impacted Programmes
If an Early Warning Notice (EWN), Notification of Compensation Event (NCE), or Project Manager’s Instruction (PMI) is expected to or has already negatively impacted the programme in terms of time or cost, we evaluate these changes and prepare Delay Impacted Programmes and Delay Trackers for submission for an Extension of Time. We strive to prevent the project from requiring adjudication or arbitration to resolve delays. Our extensive knowledge of delay assessment techniques is applied to mitigate any potential delays.
Project Status / Summary Reports
We provide periodic reports with narratives for projects as agreed with the Clients for submission under Clause 32 of NEC, JCT, or FIDIC contracts. Additionally, we prepare Lookahead Programmes, Sub-contractor Programme Analyses, Critical and Near Critical Activities Reports, and any other reports required by our Clients.
